Full Turnkey Solutions

We offer the Raymond EMC Modular R.F. Shielded Enclosure System as a full turnkey solution starting from the design phase through to the on-site installation and R.F. Shielding Effectiveness certification complete with any electrical, HVAC, life-saving system or seismic requirements. 

Our basic Modular System consist of solid core panels, made from two 28 gauge galvanized steel panels laminated to a high density wood core, clamped together using a 1/8” galvanized roll-formed framing system.  Special tri-lobular rolling/thread-forming TORX fasteners set on four inch centres of the framing system ensure an RF-tight seal while providing even compression down the entire length of each piece of framing.  Corners are sealed using bronze cast tetrahedral corner caps.

The standard R.F. Shielded Door for our Modular System is our manually-operated  single knife-edge QuietDoor however any of our R.F. Shielded Doors can be easily integrated into our System.

We offer a complete list of options to satisfy virtually any client requirements.

  • R.F. Vestibules for maintaining enclosure integrity during personnel entry and exit
  • R.F. Power Line Filters for bringing AC or DC power into the enclosure
  • Full internal electrical distribution including load centre, power outlets and light fixtures

  • Honeycomb Waveguide Air Vents for heating, ventilation and air conditioning including dielectric ductwork canvas collars for properly connecting incoming parent building ductwork to the air vents

Versatile Design Capabilities

Our Modular System can be expanded or reduced to meet virtually any size requirement while maintaining its R.F. Shielding Effectiveness performance characteristics. Smaller modular enclosures are designed to be free standing structures whereas larger enclosures can be easily tied into parent room walls and ceilings where support is required. For seismic locations or locations where support from the parent building is not possible, enclosures are supported with specially designed and engineer-approved support structures that meet local zone ratings.

Our highly experienced team of engineers and draughtsmen works directly with the client to ensure optimum room layout and conformity to both client and industry specifications. The proposed layout is then modeled using the latest SolidWorks 3D CAD software package allowing us to provide highly accurate and realistic drawing packages to our clients for their approval prior to manufacturing.

Easy Installation

Raymond EMC employs some of the most experienced Installation Specialists in the industry with extensive experience installing our full turnkey Systems including complex electrical, mechanical and architectural components.

The materials for our Modular System are pre-cut in our factory as per client-approved assembly drawings prior to delivery to the client site. This ensures a quick installation process with minimal interruption at the client site. 

Standard R.F. Shielding Effectiveness

Our standard Modular System meets or exceeds the R.F. Shielding Effectiveness requirements as outlined in the military, scientific and medical specifications that govern the R.F. Shielding industry.

Magnetic Fields: 20dB at 1kHz rising to 55dB at 10kHz and 95dB at 200kHz
Electric Fields: 100dB from 200kHz to 50MHz
Plane Waves: 110dB from 50MHz to 1GHz
Microwaves: 100dB at 10GHz
(Shielding Effectiveness Testing Standard: ITSG-02, IEEE Std 299-1997, NSA-65-6)

Raymond EMC offers on-site R.F. Shielding Effectiveness Certification, as per ITSG-02 or IEEE-299, on all installations to certify our product.

All Raymond EMC Modular R.F. Shielded Enclosure Systems come with a two-year limited warranty against defective materials and craftsmanship and to retain the specified RF shielding effectiveness.
